Fun with footers?

A lot of what you see here can be traced back to an idea I had when I saw someone, do something, somewhere else. I guess that's the definition of being inspired.

A while ago, I came across the personal website of Zoe Minikes. I pretty much love everything about it. The idea I ended up remixing is near the bottom of the page. A simple dynamically generated sentence in the footer: "It’s the [late afternoon] of the [fifteenth], and the digital sky is smiling on you."

So fun! I decided to take this idea and run with it. My version has the exact time of day and date spelled out in lowercase text. Instead of the static second part of the sentence, I created a bank of sentences or statements that are somewhat related to the time of day.

When someone comes across it in the footer, I hope it brings as much delight to them as Zoe's version did for me.
